Top Secret -

You have permission from the author to reproduce and resell this

document so long as nothing is changed!

What I'm about to reveal has been a closely guarded strategy used by a small

percentage of people to gain a top rating into the search engines. It Works!

I have personally used this strategy and have achieved a Top Rating in an

area that has an abundance of competition (such as a sex site). I firmly

believe that the more competition there is, the better this can work for you.

Here is what I found to work the best. Make a Web Page that contains three

to ten keywords and place them in an HTML document. Make sure your

keywords relate the best to your Home Page content. The keywords should

be simple and should be words that aren't difficult to spell. If I was selling

golf clubs, I would consider "golf clubs" to be the best of my keywords.

Next I would use "golf" as a keyword, then "clubs", then "golf irons", then

"golf drivers", then "putters", then "golf balls", then "golf courses", then

"putting greens", and so on.

It's good to think of words that relate to your subject matter even if these

words are off the beaten path. Obviously, if I use "Golf Courses" it only

relates to the subject of what I'm marketing however, I should gain more

traffic as a result.

The strategy works this way. Design a page filled with your best keywords,

yet, allow no one to see them. I recommend creating a page that ends up

being at least 49 Kilobytes in size, in other words, keep repeating your

keywords over and over and over on your HTML document until you reach

the desired file size.

EXAMPLE: Using the Golf Club Page I would insert these keywords:

golf clubs, golf, clubs, golf irons, golf drivers, putters, golf balls,

golf courses, (starts to repeat here) golf clubs, golf, clubs, golf

irons, golf drivers, putters, golf balls, golf courses, (again repeats

here) golf clubs, golf, clubs, golf irons, golf drivers, putters, golf

balls, golf courses, (again repeats here) golf clubs, golf, clubs,

golf irons, golf drivers, putters, golf balls, golf courses, (again

repeats here) and continue until your page is filled. If you do this

in "Note pad" it will reach a stopping point, where no more can be

typed.

Here is an example of how your HTML code should look to

start with.

<html>

<title>

The Best Golf Clubs

</title>

<META HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" CONTENT="2;

URL=http://www.bestgolfclubs.com">

<BODY BACKGROUND COLOR="#FFFFFF" TEXT=#000000

LINK=#FF0000 VLINK=#FF0000 ALINK=#00FF00>

NOTE: If you don't understand HTML Code, then have someone who does

understand HTML Code do this for you. For those who do understand HTML

Code pay close attention. Notice the META line containing the

"REFRESH" command. The "REFRESH" command pushes this page

into your Home Page, without the need to create a Hypertext link on the page itself. This command will automatically go to your Home Page yet, the

page I have placed the "REFRESH" command on will contain my keywords.

NOTE: It doesn't matter what I name this page, it will automatically

go to my desired Home Page because of the "REFRESH" command.

IMPORTANT: Design your page containing the same "BACKGROUND

COLOR" as your Home Page. This will give the "appearance" that your

Home Page is loading first when in fact, it's not. Then place the

following code to "Hide" your keywords.

EXAMPLE:

<font size=1 color=#FFFFFF> golf clubs, golf, clubs, golf irons, golf

drivers, putters, golf balls, golf courses, golf clubs, golf, clubs,

golf irons, golf drivers, putters, golf balls, golf courses, golf

clubs, golf, clubs, golf irons, golf drivers, putters, golf balls,

golf courses, golf clubs, golf, clubs, golf irons, golf drivers,

putters, golf balls, golf courses, (until you fill up the page).

NOTICE: the font color is the same as the "BACKGROUND COLOR".

When anyone comes to this page they won't notice the keywords placed

on the page. Making the font color the same as the background color is

important if you do NOT want to show others what you have done. It

also "looks" better then a page that displays every keyword.

Today more and more people are catching on to this technique and I

would suggest you check out your competition first before getting

started. If you stumble on some of your competitors pages using this

technique you may be forced to use a page and a half, or even more

keywords to gain the advantage. Be sure to look at the "source code",

through your browser, on your competitors page to see if you have

forgotten any important keywords they may have.

Using this strategy you can also do the following: (Keep in mind, most

people are lazy or won't spend the extra time or resources it takes to

take things a step further). If you design two (2), three (3), or even

five (5) pages, or more using this technique, and focus on using just

one(1) keyword ONLY, per page, and then submitting each of these pages

to the search engines, you will come out on top with each keyword you

use in many search engines!

Remember you can name each page containing your keywords with a

different name and each page will push automatically into your home

page. This is a strategy that works to give you a higher rating in

many search engines even if you have already submitted your home page

to the search engines.

The downside to this strategy is many search engines will display your

keywords only... and not the description you used. Think how many

times you do a search for something only to see these keywords in the

description. Many people think this can hurt traffic however, if you

come up first or within the top 10 or twenty displayed, I guarantee

your traffic will increase tremendously. If it's important for you to

have your description come up, rather than just your keywords, then

use the same strategy with the description. Repeat your description

over and over again (containing your keywords in your description),

rather than using just keywords.

Smart web page designers also use a

<meta name="description" content="(place your description here)">

<meta name="keywords" content="(place your keywords here">

in their HTML code. Just place this between your <title> </title>

command on the top of your code. Try to keep your description to 25

words or less, as many search engines will only place that many. Do

the same for your keywords. I do suggest you place this on your pages

in addition to the keywords you place on your page. Some search

engines will only recognize your meta name description and meta name

keywords.

If you prefer a description, rather than only keywords, be sure to be

creative with it. Most people use a bland description of their page.

Try to develop a description that is stimulating and adds curiosity.

Design it as you would a great display ad.

Here are power words, and power phrases, in writing an effective

description or ad copy that will pull people into your pages.

FREE, DISCOVER, POWERFUL, EASY, GUARANTEED,

YOU'LL LOVE THIS, MONEY, HOTTEST, NEW, IMPROVED, PROVEN,

RESULTS, REVOLUTIONARY, STATE-OF-THE-ART, FANTASTIC,

SAVE, BEST, FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY, SECRET, THE BEST

KEPT SECRET, UNBELIEVABLE, MUST SEE TO BELIEVE, are all

words and catch phrases that should be considered when developing your

site description. Also consider adding some curiosity to your

description. It will create more interest.

EXAMPLE #1: Discover the HOTTEST NEW irons on the Market Today.

Our revolutionary NEW State-of-the-Art design is taking strokes off

the average players game. The secret to our design is...

EXAMPLE #2: Soon to be offered to the golfer, quality custom-built

clubs at an affordable price.

Now tell me which one would you go to first? I would hope the first

description. You just might just want to know more about their design

and why it works so well.

Before you start to design your description, or place any keywords,

take this into consideration. The top 10 keywords searched for,

according to Wired Magazine, are these.

1. Sex

2. Nude

3. Pictures

4. Adult

5. Women

6. Software

7. Erotic

8. Erotica

9. Gay

10. Naked

You might want to place some of these keywords into your pages and

repeat them over and over, however, if these words don't really relate

to your subject matter, then by placing them into your description,

just might cause people to do an about face when they visit your

Home Page.

Another strategy in getting a top rating is have the name of your

company start with the letter "A" or "AAA". Many directories place

you in alphabetical order. Place your company name in the

<title>AAA Your Company Name</title> of your web page.

Be sure to post your site manually rather than using any automated

software or sites that post for you. You will have the best results

when you submit your information manually, however, there are sites

and software I like to use after I have gotten into the prime search

engines. Here is a list you should post manually to:

Infoseek - Webcrawler - Apollo - Open Text Index - Excite -

Alta Vista - Lycos - WWW Worm - Yahoo - Whatsnew on the

Internet - Starting Point - ComFind - InfoSpace - Yellow

Pages Online - What's New Too! - METROSCOPE - LinkStar -

BizWiz - HotBot - DejaNews -New Rider's.

I found this site to work well in saving time to get posted to the

directories, Yellow Pages, and other FREE Links sites.

Software I use to post to FREE Links Pages is called Exploit.

Their site allows you to download their software FREE.

Now that you know what it takes to get a top rating into a search

engine the next step is creating a Home Page that gets results. Be

sure to use the Power Words FREE, DISCOVER, POWERFUL, EASY,

GUARANTEED, YOU'LL LOVE THIS, MONEY, HOTTEST, NEW,

IMPROVED, PROVEN, RESULTS, REVOLUTIONARY, STATE-OF-THE-ART, FANTASTIC, SAVE, BEST, FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY, SECRET, THE BEST KEPT SECRET, UNBELIEVABLE, MUST SEE TO BELIEVE into your Web Pages and carefully consider

what you are trying to accomplish.

You only have two choices. Are you looking to receive inquires or

sales? If it is an inquiry to get your sales materials out, then keep

it as brief as possible. Excite those who read your material to want

much, much more. Open any magazine that has display ads and carefully

study which ads you would respond to. Your judgment is usually the

best way to determine what you should use to get inquires to flood in.

Then make sure your sales letters are tested and work. If you get a

tremendous amount of inquires, yet, your sales aren't happening, then

you need to re-write your sales materials. You might even want to

consider a professional ad writer to help. Go to an advertising agency

for pricing. It can make all the difference.

If you are trying to get a sale immediately, then be sure to give them

all the information you can, so making the decision to buy from you

becomes easy. Make sure your Home Page:

1.) Grabs the reader's attention...

2.) Holds their interest by telling how it can benefit them...

3.) Continues to "further stimulate" them with something

(catch-phrases) that makes them "desire" your product or

service... Then demand that they act immediately, by saying

ACT NOW!, ORDER NOW! and so on.

Another powerful strategy used to get noticed, is the use of

newsgroups. A tool I use that works favorably is called an E-mail

autoresponder. All I do is use a catchy phrase to bring people in and

then provide enough interest to have them request further information.

The way I send my sales information is via an E-mail autoresponder.

What I like so much about this tool is I never have to be online to

send anyone my information and the person who requests my information

gets it while they are still "HOT" to receive it. It works for me 24 hrs a day, seven days a week, and I never am bothered getting requests from my E-mail

box to send anyone more information. What I do get is a receipt showing me who requested my information so I can do a follow up if they don't reply back. And that is really the best way I know of to track those who are interested without wasting any of your time. You can get more information regarding E-mail autoresponders by going to your favorite search engine and typing autoresponder.

Another way to bring in traffic is find sites that offer low cost

banner ads. A site should guarantee a certain amount of impressions

for your banner ad. If you design a banner ad like the one you may

have responded to, then locate sites offering reasonable pricing. This

can and will increase traffic to your pages.

I truly hope you use these strategies soon and realize far more

success than you have! Get started right away and watch the difference

in your sales.

MORE SECRETS FOR SUBMITTING URL's

The Web Page TITLE is the most important element of a listing. Most people will conduct a search and then quickly scan the titles of matches that are returned. If your title is uninteresting, or if it presents itself near the bottom of a list, your Web Page is unlikely to ever be seen. You know how it is? You're out surfing and you barely land at a site before you're off to another.

Therefore:

The name of the game is being SEEN. You literally have millions of other sites competing for attention. Start your Web Page Title with "A" or a numeral. This should get you posted to the TOP of a category. Do a search at Yahoo and you'll see what I mean. The first 100 entries that are returned usually won't even take you past the letter "C". If your page starts with "N" you're out of luck, and out of sight, even if you have a great description loaded with keywords.

Be creative with your Title! Do not use redundant words such as "home page," "Corporation," "XYZ Inc.," etc. No one is going to search for "Home page" or "Corporation". Also, your company name is probably irrelevant unless you're Apple Computer Inc., or unless the words are very descriptive. Really, why on earth would I want to go to "XYZ Gizmo Manufacturing Corporation Home Page"? Especially when there are millions of other interesting places to go to.

On the other hand, if that same company had a title such as "A $10. Product Guaranteed to Double Profits", I might check it out. Of course, you have to back up your claims or, trust me, a person lured to your Web Page will NEVER come back.

The title that you submit doesn't necessarily have to match the actual Web page. Although, I also recommend that you DO change your Web page title also. Robots such as Webcrawler, Lycos and Alta Vista will go and scan the text of your Web page and automatically determine it's title. When a search is done the results are often listed alphabetically. You do NOT need to change your URL in order to change your Web Page title.

If given the choice, place yourself in a category that is closest to the top alphabetically. Even though it may not be the ideal category, it is more likely to be seen. Being seen is what counts.

Don't type everything in all-caps even though you may think it's more visible.

It's very irritating and usually turns people off. It always gives me the impression that it's some cheap scam (don't ask me to explain why).

If a site allows you 50 characters for a title USE IT. Longer titles somehow manage to stand out from the masses in long lists, and also allow for more descriptive, enticing, and searchable keywords.

Create a file in a word processor, on a notepad, desk accessory, etc., that contains your home page's Title, URL, Description, Keywords, as well as your personal data (E-mail, phone, address, etc.). Have this file open at the same time as you are on the Internet doing your submissions. Simply copy and paste the data into the submission form. This will save you from having to manually retype the information into each different submission form over and over.

NOTE: The length of allowed descriptions varies greatly between sites. You may want to have two descriptions (a short and long version). Check other listings in the same directory to establish allowable length if it is not clearly indicated.

Before submitting to a directory, do a few searches (if searches are possible) using the same keywords you think that people would use to find your listing. This will help you determine what location or categories you should be listed in. Is the directory alphabetical? Would you rather be in a category that starts with "A" or one that starts with "Y" (at the bottom of a long list!) (if it's a searchable directory it may not matter). Does the searcher rate a listing by the number of keyword matches it finds in a listing? Does it search for matches in the listing title, the content of the description, or both? Based on what you find out after doing a few searches you should be able to tailor make a listing that will be visible and easily found by people looking for what you're offering in your home page.

Use lots of appropriate keywords in the text of your Web page. Robots such as WebCrawler will automatically visit your Web page (after you submit your URL), scan the page's title and text, and determine which are the most frequently used words. When someone does a search with WebCrawler (for instance) using a keyword, it will come up with a list of documents that have matching keywords. Those at the top of the list usually have the MOST matches.

Print out your Index on your printer (Netscape: File->Print). On this print out make notes of where you have submitted, the date you submitted, and an appropriate date to check back to verify your listing. If at this time you find that your listing is incorrect, or if you think it could be in a better location, find out how to re-submit or update it. If this is not obvious, find an E-mail address and E-mail them with your request. NOTE: Some sites post additions immediately (press "RELOAD" to see your listing), others can take up to several weeks.

Print out this section as a handy reference while submitting.
