BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

I was born in Aldershot, Hampshire, a small town in England on 10 June 1958. I began to draw when I was just 2 years old. As I grew up I became fascinated by the Gods and particularly, the Goddesses of ancient mythologies, and by the idea of a sacred land. In one way my life has been a journey in search of this ' holiest erthe ' leading me from Hampshire, via Cornwall, to Ireland, south and north, to the Highlands of Scotland, a brief sojourn in Glastonbury and finally back to North Cornwall where I started my quest 20 years ago. I identify strongly with the wild goose, the Celtic bird of the Holy Spirit, evermoving in an unfolding skein through these lands.

I met my husband, the writer and theologian Hugh Mynne, in 1991, and we were married in 1993. Shortly after this I became a Christian. For me Christianity expresses most strongly my innermost intuitions of a redeemed world, glowing with light; a world that shimmers with the power of the Feminine Wisdom, Sophia, the quintessence of the Goddesses of the ancient world.

I have no children, but my husband and I share our life with our beloved cats. I am also an accomplished feline artist, and often paint with a cat purring contentedly on my lap.

All my cats, Goddesses and angels represent the same basic thing: the world as it should be, suffused with meaning and joy.
